BROOMS
A good garden broom will do expert work of keeping your surroundings
and immediate garden area clean and debris free at all times. You will
be able to round up unwanted particles, leaves, twigs, stems, smaller
branches and the like for collecting to discard into your garbage, compost
or chipper for example. Various models are available:
Exterior Bristles will catch all dust and debris, allowing those tough
double-duty center bristles to handle the sticks and rocks. There are
reversible heads available to add length of time for wear and tear up
to two full years. Sweep to perfection, your entire garden and patio
areas. Can be purchased with a 58" long wood handle. Large variation
of handle sizes are available from short to tall. You can also purchase
an indoor/outdoor broom replacement head.
Alternatively you can take care of all of your corners and hidden places
in your garden with a hand broom or brush. Small hemp hand brooms or
brushes are very durable and they come in larger sizes too.
Here are some specifics when it comes to selecting the ideal size: Stainless
steel handles are 10 3/8" and 8", with the stainless steel
brush areas of 3/8" and 1/2".

SHOVELS AND PICKS
Shovels and Picks are a must have in your garden when you need to dig
and get under something in particular. Breaking up the earth when harder
is necessary at times at which time the pick is very necessary.
Made of exceptional quality for durability and ease of use with handles
of all dimensions, 27” and upwards to 48”. Provides maximum
strength while remaining light in weight. Formed from hot-rolled blanks
of differing gauges. Made of quality Chrome nickel alloy steel and carbon
steel. Many provide rolled or turned foot pedal on top of blade.
The square point shovel affords less cutting power and is used for scooping
and removing of materials.
“D” handle round point is recommended for ordinary garden
digging and not for heavy digging. Good for digging holes or moving soil
or gravel. Available in both light and heavy weight.
“D” handle square point is recommended for the removal of
loose soil and such other light materials such as asphalt and sand, but
not for heavy digging. Good for flattening the sides and bottoms of ditches
or for leveling gravel or dirt—they're great for getting up the
remnants of a pile. Available in both light and heavy weight.
The smaller shovel or transplanting spade is excellent for not disturbing
your surrounding plants when removing or transplanting.
PICK AX
When you must have a good tool to break things,
the pick ax is one of your garden tools choices. The T-shaped design features extremely sharp
points
on each end. It works great when the job calls for breaking apart cement,
digging
through extremely tough clay or soil, or chipping away unwanted rocks.
Forged steel, chisel and point. Excellent for use such as defining edges,
dislodging pebbles, stones and soil.
Durable fiberglass handle construction makes the pick ax a welcomed
gardening tool as it is virtually unbreakable. Variety of sizes are available,
the most common being the 36in in length.
